| Our visit to Phnom Penh was really in the way of an after-thought. Having visited Angkor Wat, it seemed a pity if we did not journey to Phnom Penh. So with Vijay and Kiran, we decided to journey there and we are so glad we did. It was a wonderful city with its strong french influence that remains to this day, people are very friendly and warm, and we were located in a hotel with a view of the Mekong river right in front of us. Beautiful promenade by the river and flags of every nation along the promenade. This picture was part of the view from our hotel |  |
